I know that some folks out there are good with craft-type things, so maybe you can help me with this one.

teawiththecheat has this pretty dichroic glass pendant which recently self-dismantled. The glass body separated from the metal loop attachment; it had been attached with some form of rubbery glue. If I want to re-glue this, what type of glue should I use?

Silicone cement also works well and is nice and clear.

For different materials, like metal and glass, use either cyanoacrilate superglue or some type of epoxy.

Can I suggest an alternative? Unless she is super married to the metal attachment part, give me the bit of glass and I will do something with wire. It will be sturdier overall and maybe I can dress it up a little.
