is anyone else watching Planet Earth on the discovery channel? its usually on sunday nights. The show is amazing. apparently its taken 5 years to make and its 11 episodes in HD quality- so crystal clear picture. they document a number of animals that are seldom seen or rare. For example, the do an episode on some birds that migrate over Mt. Everest

I've asked my father to tivo it on his HD flatscreen so that when I visit in May, I can watch the show the way its meant to be seen - my parents have been telling me its great.
