Wow, what a busy Christmas!! Mine was exceptionally boring in comparison - I guess that's what happens when you have a large family living nearby! And I'm anxious to hear about the Mount Royal program too - it's my backup plan that I hopefully won't ever have to do ;-)

Hello there :) I enjoy following your blog.
One of my professors (I'm in a Canadian MEP) was at the evaluation meeting of the Mount Royal Midwifery program at the end of November and I asked her if they were going to start in 2011. She said although they are really hoping to start then, that it was fairly unlikely given that the last stage of government approval takes place in February. She said it would not leave them enough time to wrap up loose ends to start the program in September.
I hope that's not the case. Good luck though, you just never know. Happy New Year's! M

M, thanks for the info! If they don't get the final approval until February and would have to be starting selection process by March/April, it would be a real pinch to get everything in order for September. still, it would be nice if they could swing it!
