Filibustering FISA Legislation
I've been upset and bothered by a lot of things the president and congress have done in the past 7 years and have gotten angrier and angrier as our constitutional rights have been stripped away. I have emailed my representatives and congressmen (and signed more petitions) in the past 12 months than I have in all the rest of my years combined

i got emails back from both senators (well, their staff) over the weekend. durbin intends to fight the bill, period. obama intends to fight to have the immunity provision removed. (i got an email back from my rep, too, but not only was it automated it came after the house had approved the damn thing so it was too late.)
