I'm more concerned about the effect the chocolate will have on him :-)

If I do get one, i'll have to make sure it's not Nestle or cadburys, which limits my options somewhat!

What have Cadburys done? I knew Nestle was evil....

Owen goes absolutely nuts if you feed him cadburys :-) Literally, 3 chocolate buttons and he about explodes!

Avoid chocolate if he reacts - how about a refillable one with those yoghurt raisins he likes, or jelly beans, or cola bottles. Raid the pik'n'mix counter but avoid lurid colours.

Mamie used to slip you chocolate buttons when she thought I wasn't looking...

Yoghurt raisins, now theres a good idea. Although I suspect he will scream bloody murder if we tried to ration them!

The problem with any kind of treat, choc or yog raisins, is that I forsee many tantrums come January when the treats inexplicably stop. Although I do think it would be funny to get different flavoured jelly beans (the jelly belly ones) and just watch his facial expressions as he tries all the different flavours. :)

Jelly beans are out, far too full of E numbers :-( I love them though but I can't eat any either.

Hi there,

You showed up in some search results about Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction. And I see some cute cloth baby diapers on your homepage! Are you dealing with this problem? Did your doctor diagnose you? I can only find info about it on UK sites, seems like no one in the US is dealing with it.

Hope you are well!

Hi there. My midwife diagnosed me while I was pregnant. I was about 3 months pregnant when the pain started and was sent to the physio immediately.

I'd recommend you get yourself to an osteopath if you are haing SPD problems, everyone told me they were the people to go to (i couldn't afford one though!)

I think I got lucky with my midwife. A lot of medical people will dismiss SPD and a normal ache and pain of pregnancy unfortunately. A few of my friends just had to keep yelling at people until someone listenend to them!

My son is 2 1/2 now and i'm still in pain, but I had it really bad (and I have a squint hip as well, which doesn't help!) From everything I have read, the pain normally stops within a few weeks of having given birth. I know someone who went into the hospital on crutches/wheelchair, and walked out 3 days later with her baby :-)

Sorry this is all a bit disjointed, i'm about to leave work for the day. Feel free to email me if you want to ask anything else.
