2007: the wait.

it's been an interesting number of days since i last posted. filled with a lot of ups and downs. one major down being, that i have a really really really bad cold, and have, since about wednesday. i had two full days off of work (except a meeting for work on one day off) and then had to call in saturday, leave after an hour on sunday, call in ( Read more... )

Weren't we supposed to be handed instant financial security and a dream job the day we graduated from college? What happened? Where did we misplace our automatic salaries and perfect jobs?

If you aren't excited about maybe trying a new position, at least know that I'm excited for you. Regardless, stay patient because things are straightening themselves out bit by bit.

yes. yes of course we were SUPPOSED to have those things...

and i guess i'm kind of excited about this. it could be okay. and it makes me feel better to know you're excited about it, by hearing only a few lines about the job. we'll see. i'll keep you updated.

Sign shop is perfect for you!!!! A lot more freedom is involved with the job also which is always nice.

scott used to do that. he made all the signs for the produce. i don't know if that was his titled or just part of the produce gig. but he made it look pretty easy. soon after that he quit. maybe it's a position with 'outs' attached.

i think this is a little different. this job would be drawings and 3D foam board sculptures around the store. but it's cook that scott got to do that, i feel like i'd be more comfortable with a job like that...

yea he used to make foam 3d signs and spray paint them on the side of the house.

dude, you'll get the sign shop job. someone that worked in produce applied for the one at ridgeway and got it... so yeah. he's been with wegmans about as long as you too.

awesome, i'm keeping high hopes about it. was this person steve? i could see him wanting to do it, if he isn't out of wegmans yet... oh, and thanks for having confidence in me!

no, not steve, but he's been offered hours in sign shop before. i don't have confidence in you, it's certainty!
