quixotic (adj): caught up in the romance of noble deeds and the pursuit of unreachable goals; idealistic without regard to practicality; romantic to extravagance; absurdly chivalric; apt to be deluded.

the gerbil in the helmet is a reference to cervantes' don quixote (from which the word quixotic is derived). man of la mancha? to dream the impossible dream?

perhaps they should have said "to dream the quixotic dream"...
