In the 11 years I've been eligible to vote in Canada, not once have I ever voted for the individual that has been elected for any position in our government - federally, provincially, or municipally. OK, maybe a few counsilmen (and women) got in at the municipal level, sure, but when you have to pick 6 names out of 9 candidates or so, you're for ( Read more... )

hahaha I'm pretty screwed when it comes to voting too, because I vote for people who will probably, actually do some good for the planet. But NooOOOOOoo, they have to be all about money and business and keeping us students broke!

That was a really close race, wasn't it? And yeah, why weren't the absentee ballots counted the first time? Anyway, the Liberals fucked up by moving Wally Oppal to a different riding. Pretty neat that an independent got in!

Speaking about independents, Chuck Cadman got a seat in a federal election.
