BATMAN!

First off, I'm very excited that my computer is back up and running. A week ago it crashed and I feared that I'd lost everything on the hard drive; thankfully, that wasn't the case, but it took a week to recover everything. $450 later, here it is. I was pissed, though - the 4 year warranty only expired two weeks before the crash. It's almost as if ( Read more... )

What are your stories about?

My stories are about various things - but are either light and fun silly stories or, more frequently, twisted stories about relationships, pop culture, modern suburban life, and people with scarred psyches. :D

I'll get a pic of my costume taken from stately Wayne Manor (aka, my living room) later this week.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED finally seeing this movie. SO MUCH!

And I think Alfred said that Batman's new suit would hold up well against cat attacks.

Yeah, it was something like that. Maybe I'm just hoping it was foreshadowing since I figured Catwoman was the best realistic villain that wasn't yet included in Nolan's world - and these movies need a couple more females in them, anyway. :D

I really loved Joker and Two-Face in the Dark Knight, but Christian Bale just seems like... a very poor Bruce Wayne. He just looks too scrawny to me to be a proper Bruce. That and the fact that he uses his 'Bat-rasp' when he's Batman. Outside of him, though, I thought everybody did a great job and carried themselves really well.

And I totally agree with the thing about Arkham Asylum. I was kind of holding my fingers for a shot at the end of Harley escorting the Joker to his cell or something. But I'm just a big fan of Harley Quinn. :3

Great movie. I guess all the gunplay added to the PG-13 rating. There were only a few really shocking things, but there were lots of rounds fired and explosions.

The line about cats made me think they were setting up Catwoman as well, and I don't think Harvey is dead. Speaking of which, what did you think of Aaron Eckhart in the role and how they worked in the coin-flipping?

I thought Aaron Eckhart was great in the role, as both Harvey Dent and Two-Face. I loved virtually everything I saw, and the origins to everything - the coin AND his alias - but just want there to be more in future installments.

We already had one fake death in the movie, why not two?

I agree, the third movie really should be built upon the strengths of the previous two.
