Lately my life has been pretty grim. Every last aspect of it. My job, while decent, is pretty monotonous and very stressful over half the time - and mostly due to stupid reasons (some of which I can and cannot control). Ten thousand dollars a day? So she has to pay at least $50,000 on a lawyer?

For 2 lawyers. They each get 5,000 a day for trials and hearings. That is the way of things in immigration law. It's already cost over that much so far. The really sick thing is the canadian government let a murderer stay in the country on grounds that the cost of his legal fees broke him and he would have to start over from scratch if he was deported!! WTF!!! And I wouldn't? Nice double standard. Maybe I should get a tan and go murder someone. It's sad, but it would probably help.

Why the hell does it cost 10 large a DAY?! That's over 1,000 dollars an hour! No way they cost that friggin' much. Even the top flight corporate lawyers don't charge rates like that. You sure you got that right?

2 lawyers. 5,000 each per day for trial. They charge $400 an hour just to make phone calls. lol
