Of family, contemplation, self esteem, and coffee

Certain things in this life can sway me like no other. A certain touch along my spinal column, the right words at the right time, and sweet tea all fall in that weird-but-true purgatory. This past weekend, I found myself surrounded by a family of strangers - familiar only in name and aged appearance, but strangers nonetheless in every other way. ( Read more... )

This lesson took me four years to learn. I am still trying to make it okay but it is getting better. I totally understand.
