Sorry, my computer's screen is only a 1024 so I never thought to make them any bigger. Give me a few minutes and I'll MacGyver them into that size.

Got 'em done. I just did 1280x1024. Hope that's alright. If you've got 1280x960, just tell me which one you want so I don't have to go through the entire batch again. :)

okay! thank youuu i'm so sorry to be a bother XD;; i'm sure i'm one of the only ones who has a 1280 widescreen, but i'd really like the blue and green 'doctor who' and 'doctor who?' ones in 1280 by 960 XD

Not at all! Some people might get creeped by the faceless thing, but I really like the way they look. I saved a couple for my laptop at home! Thank again fopr sharing. :D

Yeah, the first one I did was that green Doctor one up top, and the faceless bit made more sense with the text I used. But I liked how it looked so I kept it up. I'll try faces next time just to see how it turns out.

Lots and lots and lots of rastor layers, each one a different color or shade. All of it was done with a paint brush. Disarmingly simple technique, but it took forever. I had to have spent a couple hours doing each one of those base images, more in the case of the trio. Once the figures were finished I merged it all into a single layer and filled in the different backgrounds and added text.
But I'm glad you like them! I was a bit worried they'd just be something for me to pass the time doing rather than something that was actually appealing to others.
