Childhood Confusion re: The Chronicles of Narnia

I find it funny that someone who is so aware of General Relativity doesn't like the variable time-flow rates in Narnia.

What always bothered me far more as a child were science fiction stories featuring time travel where you couldn't be in the same time twice. For example, if you went back in time to see the crucifixion of Jesus, you couldn't go a second time because you were already there.

I also didn't know how to clearly articulate it at the time, but this is the problem I had with it: my body is made of indistinguishable particles. What does it matter if there's one copy of me there, or two, or ten. It's all just protons and neutrons and electrons, the universe doesn't care.

Funny typo alert: "electrons" and "elections" are only one letter apart.

Past tense. I'm cool with non-constant rates of time now.

I guess I'm projecting then, because the time travel thing still really bothers me.

Thanks for the link, by the way.

This is what I am reading at the moment. I really like the BBC news.
