*It is not a good day for Markus. After waking up after the event where he was .. a janitor of all things, he freaked out. He didn't know where he was or what was happening so he forced a change back to Tim. Who cares if that hurts like all hell? Not him

When he spots his little brother the masked man ripping open his own arm to write codes on the wall, Alex responds accordingly. He throws on a video feed, and - okay, that's probably an important message or something (and what if it means the Operator's done something, what if he has plans, what if he's on the move--) but deciphering it can wait until he's made sure Markus isn't going to bleed to death. ]
What the hell are you doing?
[ There's a bit of panic in his voice, and the anger you'd find in a parent's who'd caught their child running in front of speeding cars. ]

Then... Then he realizes who's on the comm. He jumps backwards away from the screen, as if Alex would somehow be able to jump out of it and get to him.*
Am.....
Am.... Is .. Is gone.

Markus, go to the clinic and--
[ He stops as the meaning of Markus's words sinks in. Gone. Gone. Someone else is gone, or gone again. Someone Markus knows - J again? Mark? (Oh God, please not Mark.) Philip?
The Operator occurs to him, but he hardly believes that's a possibility. The Operator has always felt apart from Wonderland, above it, one of his torments rather than one of his fellow prisoners. ]
Who - who's gone?

Operator.
.. Is gone.. Don't know.. what to do.
*Why is he telling this to Alex? He tightly grips the knife still in his hand, ready to defend himself. He takes a few shuddery breaths and stares at the screen, at Alex.
And then he runs. There's the sound of scraping and clanking as he knocks things over and scrambles to get out of the door. He needs to get away. To the forest.
And wait for the Operator to come back.*

He moves as fast as he can, but he's got a lot of stairs to cover. It'll take some time.

He's terrified to the point of just shutting down.*

[ For the briefest of moments Philip's attention is on the code and displeased eyes are about to wander towards a piece of paper for subsequent deciphering. But then they spot not only the nature of the paint used but also its immediate source. ]
Don't-- Stop it!
[ Of course the deed's already been done, but Philip is a little too overwhelmed to give constructive advice right now.
He jumps from his seat and bolts out the door, hurriedly heading towards Tim's room. ]

Markus?
[...But on second glance the blood is a fairly helpful sign as to where Markus is currently located.
Philip opens the door, kneels down and pats the curled up shape on the back. ]
Talk to me.
