*So Tim has already discovered the strange foot and a half tall action figure of Brian. And after getting over his initial terror of a moving and sort of living doll has vaguely come to terms with the thing. Right now it's sitting on the couch with a controller in it's hands, next to some chip wrappers and soda cans. Obviously now that he has a

Shit. You have one too?

[ Would he, though? Despite everything, he has made a few friends here. And so long as the Operator's around at least two of them are in danger. ]

Well... Uh.. sorry he's gone. I know you guys were friends.

...Yeah.
[ Also suddenly looking down at the corner of the screen. ]
I...
[ Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to "Alex Kralie Attempts To Vocalise A Feeling". ]
...kind of wish we'd been better friends here.
[ There were road bumps. You know, slight things to regret. J spreading around those private little home movies. Alex chasing J around with icicles. ]

Hey, you can't help it. The mansion does weird things and makes stuff you know... awkward.

Awkward.
[ And he should have, by now, acknowledged the fact that he somehow miraculously hasn't driven Tim away.
...You know, that's a 'should have' that it isn't miles too late to follow.
He looks at Tim uncertainly, then down again, at the other side of the screen. ]
Um...

*He doesn't really know what else to say. Alex's "umm"ing sounds like he wants to say something else, but pushing Alex always seems to lead to him hanging up on him. So he'll just sit there and wait.*

...Thanks. For...
I know I must be the most depressing person in the world to talk to.
[ Golf clap, Alex. That was so articulate. ]

*well that was entirely unexpected.*
You're not. Really.
I should probably thank you. For even acknowledging I exist. You know, especially since I.. well.. *YOU KNOW.*

[ Don't get him wrong, it's creepy as fuck and if you'd asked him a few months ago he'd have thought he'd only want to avoid Tim and the memories (or lack therof) associated with him. But one way or another, more or less for the better, the opposite has happened.
One thing that hasn't happened recently is eye contact. But we can work on that. ]
It - wasn't your stupid film he was stalking.

*Wry grin.*
I still don't even understand what's going on really. But.. Guess we can just make the best of it or whatever.

He tries to quash that, though. It's not the tone he wants to strike at all. He looks at Tim again, nodding slightly. ]
Good philosophy.
[ Even if, most of the time, it feels impossible to follow. ]

*You know. Like J.*

[ He manages not to cast a darkly rueful look around his own long-occupied room, but it's a close thing. ]

You should get out more. Want to get something to eat?

[ He's caught off-guard, even though it's not that strange a question. That would mean leaving his room, by feeling at least the securest part of the mansion. How much charge and film does his current camera have left? Plenty, he's sure, but he has a couple more charging if he's wrong. Now, just how likely is it today that the Operator or a psychotic blonde will leap out from around a corner? Prooobably no more than usual. And, you know, there's the horrible doll on the floor right now. Yeah, it's probably safer to stay away from that for a while. He's found that Mosa's fine if he's left in his terrarium. And yeah, he does kind of want to hang out with Tim. For a moment he has the wild notion that it'll be just like meeting with a friend in the old days, though that's bullshit and he knows it.
Also he's starving, holy crap. ]
Yeah. Yeah, let's... meet in the kitchen? [ There are lots of tables where he can keep his back to a sturdy wall. Also incidentally food. ]
