But her eyes are glad to see him.

"Rose!"
He glances at the other TARDIS approvingly, putting a hand on her briefly. "You've been taking care of her, I see," he smiles, for something to say. Though he'd never admit it, he's feeling awkward. He's not sure how to act, or what to say, and he's painfully aware that the other him is still out there and in dire straits at the moment. That, more than anything else, is enough to put him on edge.

"So what's the plan, Doctor?"

He shrugs and sighs. "Well, I managed to get a reading on him. Only briefly, mind you," he says heavily, leaning on the TARDIS. "Then I lost him again. So, at the minute, the plan is to come up with a plan. I've always wanted to say that! Plan to come up with a plan..."
He quickly sobers up again. "Anyway. We'll find him. Somehow."
