[RL - Aradia - time travel without a box]

[ I am very lazy with RLs today so The Doctor is currently sitting at a table in one of the Orbital Elevators on his adopted world, eating a banana split and swinging one leg thoughtfully. He's waiting on Aradia so they can give this time travel with a passenger thing a go. The Doctor has to admit, he already likes Aradia, a lot, and it'll be nice

[Aradia walks through the restaurant, trying to ignore the odd looks she's getting from people around her. Not only is she clearly a robot, unlike anything you would normally see wandering about the Orbital Elevator in this incarnation of Earth (though the technology level was probably good enough to create such a thing, no one really has), but she's not even a human-shaped robot. It's a bit different from when she went to Willow's world, and everyone just thought she was in a very clever costume.

Thankfully she spots the Doctor and hurries over to his table, smiling brightly. She likes the Doctor, very much. It's nice to be able to talk to someone who knows a little something about time travel, and he is definitely one of the friendly humans - I mean, Time Lords. She enjoyed their talks so far, and is looking forward to travelling around for fun for a bit.]

Hello Doctor! Oh, what is that? It looks...really good. [She eyes the banana split with curiosity]

Aradia! [ His face splits into a warm grin ] Banana split. Sort of like ice cream stuck in the middle of two halves of banana, and this one's got chocolate sauce. Want some?

[ He holds up his spoon invitingly. Bananas are good and sharing a banana split is even better, and of course, the Doctor being the Doctor, he is completely unperturbed by either Aradia's appearance or the looks people are giving her. If they have a problem they can take it up with him, and it would be their own fault if they did. ]

[She eyes the spoon. She had no idea what a banana is - though it sounds silly - or ice cream, or chocolate sauce, and she really wants to try it! But she's also not sure she has a stomach.]

Ah. [ A look of understanding with the tiniest hint of sadness mixed in passes across his face. He knows there are some robots out there, advanced ones, that can eat little bits, just to experience taste and eating. It seems Aradia isn't one of them, which doesn't bother him except that it means she can't enjoy the wonders of a banana split. Or chips, for that matter. ] Of course, it figures... sorry, that was a bit insensitive of me. You don't mind if I finish this off quick, do you?
