[Having located Haruhi (via this RL Here~) and dragged her in some way, shape or form through the driving rain back to the safety of the TARDIS, the Doctor throws his soaking wet coat over the rail as the door swings shut, and begins to help Haruhi as much as he can to the pilot's chair next to the console

[She's been staying put in the console room ever since her father told her too, despite wanting to go after both Donna and Haruhi all at the same time. Jenny still doesn't entirely understand what's going on. But while she waits, the connections slowly fall into place.

So by the time they return, her arms are crossed over her chest and she doesn't hesitate to ask the first question that came to mind.]

Would she have died?

[curls up on the pilot chair, wrapping her arms around her knees and buring her face in them. She kind of doesn't want to hear the answer or even talking about it, she's soaked to the bone, freezing, and shivering because of it. But..at the same time she wants to know, so she stays completely silent except for occasional bouts of coughing]

[They deserve an answer, and the truth. There hasn't been time to explain to either of them the nature of the metacrisis, neither he nor Donna have explicitly said - they just knew. But Jenny and Haruhi don't, and it's up to him to tell them. He nods and gives them a simple answer, for now.]

"Yes."

[A small nod. It is, for the most part, enough for her.]
