By now, the fleas might be in your curtains, sheets, couch, carpet, etc, which may explain why they don't go away, despite the advantage. Have you tried quarantining the puppy while doing a thorough clean?

We vacuum everyday at our house. But we never see fleas anywhere but on the dog. We both don't have any bites or whatnot. When we get back home there will be a thourough cleaning due.
