[Private to Kay]

[And not just private. Coded and spoken in Gallifreyan besides. Because he's technically not suppose to have access to his mindwipe ever.]

I'd like to use my mindwipe.

It's not for my sake, it's for Miss Maximoff's.

[Added: Private to Will Graham]

I have a proposition for you, Special Agent Graham.

Oh? Let's hear it.

It's about your inmate and his recent, very public, post. Miss Maximoff is rather understandably distressed.

I'd like your permission to remove a very small segment of his memory from his experiences on the other Barge. Just enough so that Miss Maximoff's sense of privacy and...integrity can be maintained. It's for both her safety and his, since some of her friends might take it amiss if he keeps harassing her.

I'll answer any questions you have about the procedure.

So it's like a reset button. Instant amnesia. [Short pause.]

I'll admit, I'm of two minds here, Narvin. I understand her side of things. She's being thought of as something she's not, and called out for it. In his defense, he did intend the post to be private. That doesn't change its content, and I'm not excusing it, either.

From his perspective, everything is still new to him. Just yesterday he asked me why he was here. Most inmates seem to have a basic grasp of what they've done wrong, even if they excuse it somehow. He didn't.

Morally I'm opposed to any tampering with the mind, but on the other hand, Wanda shouldn't suffer because of the Admiral's usual bad driving.

[Another pause.] How is this... procedure done?

I understand your reservations. [Not really. The CIA tampers with people's minds all the time. But it's diplomatic to say so.]

The most reliable way to do it is with a mindwipe. I can pinpoint very precise memories and erase only what few minutes are necessary. All the rest would remain perfectly intact. It is a bit painful, but it's standard procedure to erase all memory of the pain. It does no physical damage whatsoever.

The alternative would be to do it purely psychically. It's painless, but also less effective. There's some chance his memories could later reassert themselves.

[Five minutes of thoughtfulness. Hold, please.]

Alright, let's go with that first option. I trust your judgment on this. [And that you know what you're doing being the underlying implication.]

Only remove what happened between them. Much as I'm embarrassed about my own mirror-self, I don't want gaps in his memory. ... Well, too many at least.

If possible I'd like to be there for this.

Understood. I have quite a few centuries' experience with the technology. There won't be any mistakes. It's best if he's taken by surprise. I'll psychically put him to sleep first, then use the mindwipe. When he wakes up, he'll have no idea anything happened to him.

I have no objection to you observing, but be aware that once the wipe is in process it would be dangerous to interfere.

I have no intention to interfere. As I said, I trust you with this. I just feel as if I should be there for him.

Alright. Late this evening, then?

[ooc: Not sure if we intend to log this out or just assume?]

Agreed.

[OOC: I'm good with either. Whichever you guys prefer.]

I'll meet on his floor, then.

[ooc: Assuming it is, then. Will would observe without much input and then go and drink for a while and Richie would be... mindwiped. :| Anything else of interest you think might've happened, just for our reference sake...?]

(Nope, nothing of interest I can think of. Except that Narvin would try to be very professional about it, but since Will has very good instincts and observational skills, he can probably notice that Narvin takes rather a lot of satisfaction in doing this job.)
