I think that peace is better than eternal war over a bit of confusion.

I should think so, too. [Eternal wars should be fought over *actual* mutually attempted genocide, not assumed mutually attempted genocide.]

[Narvin is a bit surprised that Ardent isn't immediately screaming into the communicator. He thinks this means that Ardent's self control is holding better than expected and that he's plotting something.]

[he's gasping out between very, very pained sentences.]

[Omega doesn't quite know what to make of this, mostly because he doesn't terribly care about Dwarven politics. He just knows what Brax's reaction would be to this happening to him.] So, what's next?

Not at the moment. If a murderous Dwarf comes after me, that might change. I'll let you know.

[Narvin's really in far too good a mood right now. Sweet sweet victory. At least in the first salvo.]

You know, it's interesting, and shows a piece of nature common to humans, trolls and dwarves. Namely, how easily they're led to hate each other. I hadn't realized before that Ardent was just another member of the mindless rabble.

[Very, very disgusted:] And that is what he attacked you over? [Should have killed him, after all.]

timesbureaucrat May 25 2011, 19:59:58 UTC
Yes. Ardent thought this was worth killing for.

Ridiculous. As if anyone here cares about that silly story.
