Looking back over 2011, it seems that my posting has been extremely irregular. (Like everything else in my life. Sigh.) Here's the year in review meme:

Hm... I didn't notice the original Iliad being too deficient in gayness, but perhaps I may have been reading the wrong epic poem.

Heh. Well, the Iliad likes its subtext. My favorite part of The Song of Achilles involves an actual plot point that we talked about in class lo these many years ago; this is one book I can't fault for not knowing its source material. :)
