I've kind of been failing to update regularly, even with Ovid fixed and with his webcam mysteriously working again. You know how it is. You intend to write thoughtful, entertaining posts, and then you get distracted by your co-workers lending you Dr Who and gay romance novels about demons and cops who fight crime together (adorably) and the next ( Read more... )

Awesome. Horrifying non-dorks is the best. I did some of that last night; I was at a Read Shakespeare Aloud get-together and met a girl who also saw David Tennant in Much Ado in London, and of course, is a total Doctor Who nut like me. We quoted and geeked and totally freaked people out :)

I've seen a few scattered David Tennant Doctor Who episodes, but a friend from work lent me the entire first season with Matt Smith and now I have to go back and watch EVERYTHING.

...I'm sure everyone who knows me knew this would happen eventually. *sigh* XD

I wouldn't call it a chore. You have Season 1 with Christopher Eccleston, and he is pretty great, and then season 2 begins and you get 3 Whole Seasons of David Tennant as the Doctor; pretty much the best tv experience there is. Also, you have to watch out and not forget about the Christmas specials. Mostly because David Tennant's first appearance is in "The Christmas Invasion."

Matt Smith, starting in Season 5, is ok. He is a passable Doctor. I am still watching the show and liking. But I miss David Tennant a whole bunch.

WHAAAAAAT NO WAY O_O I can't believe we missed each other!

Well, we were pretty close to the front most of the time, it was kind of hard to actually see anybody. XD

Next time: POWERS COMBINE! Obviously also next time I will be actually WEARING my Save Ginny shirt, thus making me slightly easier to spot.
