Wow - what a perfect ending! I loved this series. I can't believe how seamlessly you fit all the prompts together. It was really gorgeous. And I also loved the line you walked between drama and prose. Although the prompts were angsty, and the writing could have pushed that, you kept it on a very realistic level, allowing us to taste the angst without droning in it! It's a tough line to walk, and you succeeded masterfully. Really wonderful!!! And now I will be late to work - totally worth it!

It was tricky to fit the prompts together, but luckily Torchwood, and especially the cyberwoman story ark, offer plenty of opportunities for angst and hurt/comfort.

Awww, beautiful ending! I think they both see each other more clearly now, good and bad, because they're human, neither one id perfect no matter how hard they try. But they can be there for each other, offering support and understanding. Neither of them is a monster. Ianto made a bad mistake for a good reason, and Jack sometimes has to make hard decisions for the greater good. What matters is that they try to do the right thing, even if they don't always succeed.

Well done on writing this, I'm so glad you managed to do it!
