That's a very clever way of getting them both to a point where they can forgive each other and move forward. Now they each understand what the other was feeling far better that if they'd tried to explain, plus they know it's the truth.

Mind swap stories are always fun, but I wanted this one to be a bit more plausible than waking up one day in each other's bodies. I hope the future lie detector gadget achieved that.
It was the only way that they could both fully understand and trust each other again.
