“What could I tell him?” Jack sighed, “I’m not ready for the others to know about Flatholm just yet.
Not everyone the rift takes is as lucky as Diane. Who knows where Amelia went or what horrors she saw before the rift spat her out in Cardiff?”
Jack accepted the coffee with a small smile and a brush of their hands.
“She is an amazing woman. An explorer and adventurer, but she got more than she bargained for with a trip through the rift.”
