I have joined tw100 and have enjoyed writing for their prompts and the sense off community there with everyone reading and commenting on each other's work. I have been writing there for 3 weeks now, and I intend to keep going and fill as many prompts as possible going forward. If you are looking for bingos There is Hc-bingo which is all hurt/comfort stuff or Longliveianto which has a bingo running as another challenge running. Though Ianto has to be immortal or longlive you can read in comm rules. You need any other suggestions you can drop me a pm.

Thank you for your suggestions, I really appreciate that you took the time to read my ramblings and to comment!
hc_bingo is one that i have looked at and will probably join, when i get up the nerve. Might need a bit more practice writing first!
As for longliveianto, i'm not so sure... as much as i refuse to acknowledge COE, immortal Ianto doesn't really seem right to me either, so i'm not sure i could write fics on that theme.

The Hc-bingo has some overlap with some prompts which can make it difficult to have a bit of variety. I have surgery as well as hospital stay and PTSD as well as panic attacks. But I've been making some headway in fills.

I thought I'd have problems with Longliveianto but I made one story how he became immortal and the rest of the fills just fall Into line as part of a series so I don't need to come up with an different way he became immortal each fill. And I even used the canon way for Jack to pass it on. Not to mention the whole team is still around so that's lots of happiness.

Good luck with your card. I find that I write more that I have a prompt to follow. Before I would trail off into oblivion. You need any help don't hesitate to drop me a pm.

If you're going to be writing longer Jack/Ianto fics, I'd suggest joining jackxianto so you can post there.

There's also jantolution , though fics there need to have a happy ending at least, and the Ianto community torchwoodcoffee for fics where Ianto is central to the story.

As for bingos, there seem to be tons running at the moment. I'm too much of a coward to sign up for a card, I just can't write to a schedule, but I've seen a lot of cards posted on my friends' journals so I'm sure you won't find it difficult to track down one that suits you.

i have read some stuff over at both jackxianto and jantolution a while back, but they had slipped my mind when looking for communities to join. I will revisit them when I get a spare moment. I've not come across torchwoodcoffee before but am on my way over there now to investigate :-)
I seem to be becoming addicted to LJ and it is your fault :-)
All of my (limited) spare time at the moment seems to be spent trying to catch up on your fic rec lists!
Oh well, never mind.... :-)

You should think about joining a bingo, I would like to see more of your work.

0_0 Nononono! No bingo for me! I'm having enough trouble making notes on the next Nosy-verse fic (which has been half written for nearly 2 years), the last thing I need is to get distracted even further from working on it, I have little enough time to think about it as it is never mind trying to write it!

Seriously, I want to get back to writing it, but life keeps getting in the way - I had to spend today making a birthday card for one of my oldest friends because I just remembered it's her birthday in like 3 days! Then I had to write a letter so I could post the card. Tomorrow I have to get her presents wrapped so I can hopefully post next week, and that's another weekend gone =(

Yes, LJ is addictive - it's probably where all MY time goes too, come to think of it.... But it's not fattening, or illegal or bad for your health (aside from the whole lack-of-excercise thing), so it's one of the better things to be addicted to =D
