You know, I can never remember the 1973 winner, either. Abba's "Waterloo" has wiped our collective memories. It's actually wiping mine as I type...

Yep =) It was your comment that made me think about it and realise I could write it, so you're welcome.
I didn't even know Luxembourg participated, let alone won o_o several times even. And Belgium only won once, damn it (I'm Belgian myself). But seriously, ask anyone if they know any winning songs and it's 'Waterloo'.
It's hypnotising and mind-wiping... it's like one of the Master's cracky evil schemes, or something o_o that would explain a lot
And thank you so much for the lovely comments ^^

I didn't catch the 1974 in the first portion, and Gene's reaction to this was just amazing! I can hear him screaming now, and it's a good thing, a very, very welcome thing, in fact.
This was just too cute for words, and I loved every bit of it.

Thank you =D glad you liked it so much

I think I'd be annoyed as well, forced to sit through it for no reason. :P (Okay, so I liked it when I was 10 or 11, but not any more.)
Love the banter. :)

Yeah, exactly! Same here. I can't watch it anymore, but I kind of liked it as a kid. I think it's just too much like one of those flashy and songy kids' shows, perhaps.
Glad you do ^^

I loved this - I loved the idea of Sam bamboozling Gene into watching the show with him! So! Evil!

He can be evil if he wants to =P but I'm afraid he's about to regret it. Gene will get his revenge, I'm sure.
Thank you!
