I love how she clings to him, that is so what happened on the show. *nods*
And this is still my favourite line of the whole thing:
She knows he was born Billy, not William.
She danced with 25. Drank with 36. Slept with 3.
♥!
MORE! ;)

Of course it happened that way! *nods*
I'm so glad I put that line in. ;)
*giggles* I believe your initial reaction was "3?!?" =P
Reply
Yup. Totally did. Just like they hugged in Home II.
Me too, oh me too.
LOL Yeah, I remember. Because, well, threeeee??. :P

This is spectacularly beautiful, and just the way you wrote their relationship *wibbles* and this -
Not of the dead. Of the cities and the worlds. The homes blown apart. It’s too early to think of the families inside.
And this -
Her steady Billy had faltered and she had been scared to lose him. So scared. (no more) Two hands clinging and he was back.
42. She can name them, every one. So can Billy, but he’s good at lists. She knows them. (knew) She danced with 25. Drank with 36. Slept with 3. Her system taught their children. For what?
-- Okay, I'm going to stop here or else I will end up quoting the entire thing.

Clearly, you win at life.

Thank you. I am so very glad that you like this (and this series of fics, I just adore Billy). And those are some of my favourite lines in it too, if I'm allowed to have favourites.
Thank you! =D You win at reviewing. ;)

But hee! *hugs* I win! Yay! LOL!
And yes you are allowed to have favorites... that said, would it be alright if I friend your journal? :3
Hee... favourites - my train of thought fascinates me. ;)

That was the scene driving this entire series. Well, that, and the scene with Laura, Saul and Bill in the CIC when she says Billy's the closest thing to family she has. Actually, it was mostly that episode in general. ;)
Thank you!
