Rules

1. Roleplays are here to have fun. Please keep OOC affairs and dramas out of the game. This includes journals, OOC communities, chat, and anything else related to the game. If there’s a problem with another player, please contact the mods to see if something can be worked out. Do not start drama all over the place, and especially not ICly.

2. Please know your character and remain in character. This should go without saying, I hope.

3. Original characters, real life characters, and alternate universe characters are not allowed. At this point, a player may have up to four characters only. Also, you may not app from the same canon. This will be changed later on, but for the opening, these are the limits. Duplicates are also not allowed. The only exception to this rule is if you wish to play an official canon AU characters, like CLAMP’s Tsubasa characters or Kingdom Heart’s Final Fantasy characters. This also applies to mangaverse/animeverse characters if the canon of each version is significantly different from the other. However, since some canons have a lot of official canons, like Negima!, we limit the number of canon AU duplicates to two, else things could go hectic. Also, mods reserve the right to refuse these characters if they deem them too similar to their counterpart.

4. No metagaming. This means, keep OOC knowledge out of IC actions. You are not your characters, therefore they do not know what you know.

5. No godmoding. You are not allowed to direct the actions of another character without permission. This goes from fight scenes to minor actions. Remember, just because you have a great plot or thread idea in mind doesn’t mean the other player will always be okay with it. Plan things out with other players beforehand and think of the implications and repercussion they may bring.

6. On the same matter, please think ahead of what your character’s actions can bring. You are not the only player in the roleplay and your actions may not please other characters. Not to mention, your character is not immune to the game. For example, if you decide to go steal some food from a prehistory tribe, there’s a chance that there will be retaliation against you, or the entire community. Don’t automatically expect people to come help you or back you up for all your plans. This is why it becomes important to plan out some plots before hand with the other players. This is why the chat exists. Oh, by the way, to make sure you’ve read all of this, add “Now, let love bleed!” at the end of the app.

7. There is no age minimum to play in TC. However, this means that any R rated (mostly extreme violence and any type of sex) thread, log, or other material must be properly dealt with. Any R rated materials must be under LJ cut with a header that clearly states to not allow minors in, must have the proper warning in the post header, and must be friend locked. Also, this mostly goes without saying, but if you are below 18, please do not engage yourself in R rated threads.

8. We ask that you stay active within the RP. There will be activity checks every one or two months. Journal posts are done in individual journals and currently do not count for activity checks. We understand that sometimes you simply do not have the time, in this case, please use the hiatus post to call a hiatus. You will be excused from the activity check. Plus, it’s always good manners to tell everyone that you’ll be missing for a few days/weeks. Also, while on the subject, please do not hog your characters if you are inactive with them.

9. Please respect the application period. Any applications send outside the time period will be outright ignored. Currently, the application period is unlimited, but these rules will change later. Also, please do not friend and join any journals until we tell you so.

10. Please use your best writing. Posts should use good grammar and should be spelled check at a minimum. Logs should be done in the third person and journal in the first.
