Content: It's time to go hunting to pay the rent.

"Is that thing even edible?"
Talking to herself, Prier simply looked at the corpse of the... thing she just pounded into submission. For all she knew, it was some sort of moving liquid metal. Now she wasn't the one to stop herself from trying different food, but this was metal. No way could this be useful.
That would explain why this was about the only thing she's been finding since the morning. Even the natives around here weren't stupid enough to try and eat that. Great, just great. These guys pretty much gave her the "you bring food or you kick out" ultimatum this morning, so it's not as if she could really just turn back. Just where were the bigger prey anyway? Sure, she knew she couldn't handle the big lizards, as embarrassing as that was, but there should be other things hanging around, after all she could hear them in the distance.
She grabbed her makeshift club the villagers gave her and headed in deeper. This was gonna be a long day.
