This was getting to be more than a little irritating. Falsetto had taken a well-earned rest after doing a little hunting on her own time (and she still wasn't sure just what was going on with her abilities) and woke up after a very bumpy ride here. In a place made of cold metal, with any and all connection to nature gone. Destroyed. Forcefully, too. If it were here at all, it would be screaming.

The things here would have been unfamiliar even if she did know what they were. So much machinery... such a bleak place. No doubt humans were behind it. But what happened to the people who had taken her in? The people who were doing their best to survive alongside nature? This was... wrong.

Gwendolyn was here. But what was she doing? Where was... no. She wasn't jumping. She was. Great ( ... )

As she had surmised, Gwendolyn's wings had regained enough strength to slow her fall to a swift, controllable descent.

Of course, no sooner did she touch the ground that she had heard a loud sound right behind her, as though something had just fallen with a thud. Quickly she turned, raising her buckler and readying her spear, only to lower them once she realized who it was. "Falsetto?" she asked, unsure if she had been spirited here like herself. "How did you enter this place?"

Ughhh. This was going to be a hell of a day already. Falsetto glanced up and slowly got to her feet. She was sure to take the time to look around before she started talking, just in case, but no luck. Everything was just more of the same. Dark and bleak and so completely devoid of life. It was depressing.

"I'm not sure. I woke up and I was here." It was a safe assumption that Gwendolyn didn't know anything about their situation either. "I'm okay. Do you think this is something like what brought us to the Ioka village in the first place?"

"Perhaps. I felt a sudden pull, and then found myself here."

She took a look around as well. The same metallic structure, still arranged in a lifeless manner, so unlike the columns and sculptures of her old home... Instead of a room, though, they seemed to have landed in the corner of a passageway, faint noises heard in the distance.
