The Business District was always thrumming with life, always so busy regardless of what time of day. It was perhaps the only district here in beautiful Lindblum that reminded the Marquis of the bazaars in fair Rabanstre. On his many trips to his friend's kingdom, Rabanstre always had busy streets unlike the peaceful oasis that loomed above. Bhujerba, known for its vast mines and endless supply of magicite, was never a busy city per say. Bhujerbans have a habit of taking life with stride despite being as shrewd and competitive in the market like their Dalmascan brothers. For Ondore to be wandering among such a busy crowd was quite out of his nature but the call of exploration has tempted him so ever since his arrival here. With Lord Larsa feeling hospitable enough to pay for room and board, the Marquis decided to feed his curiosity ( ... )

Ondore's stare was just one of the many he had received that morning - he looked quite out of place it seemed, amidst the more modern pace of Lindblum. Even the fighters here sported different apparel, leather and light armor, and it seemed that capes were quite out of style among knights these days ( though the nobles and mages seemed fond of them ). He'd gotten strange looks almost everywhere he'd gone this morning, though to be fair, the staring faces had been friendly ones, and although they'd found him odd, those he had spoken with - mainly shopkeeps and street vendors - had been perfectly amiable. Of course, that may have been due in part to the fact that the Warrior was an exceptionally polite man. Who could say ( ... )

Judging by the vivid artistry of the knight's armor, Ondore already ruled out this young man as a judge of the Empire. The knight didn't possess the same brutish indifference like the six Judge Magisters but the same could be said for former Judge Magister Zecht, a man who proved to be a gentle soul despite his past allegiance with the Empire. However, despite such a truth Ondore opted to be careful and not be a presumptuous fool. Assumption is the mother of derelicts and imbeciles, two words that doesn’t fit the intelligent demeanor of the ever regal Marquis.

Allowing his thoughts to stray once he made it towards the inn, a faint smile lingered upon his face once the curiously dressed knight held the door for him. "Impeccable manners." Ondore chuckled lightly as he passed by. Surely, this man is no judge for not even Judge Magister Ghis showed him this much respect.

"I take it you are traveler."

The Warrior ducked his head to pass through the doorway after the Marquis, pulling the wooden door closed behind him. The busy sounds of Lindblum were muffled now, but not entirely shut-out, still buzzing about his ears like a swarm of working bees. The dusty wood creaked beneath his feet as the Warrior stepped further into the room, surveying the broad windows and worn rafters. It was a welcoming sort of place, and he found that he liked it very much - even despite the crisp winter air this place felt warm and cozy.

"I am," he answered with a shallow, careful frown. "It would seem that I stand out here."
