Fortunately, it wasn't difficult to find their way out of Dollet, especially since it was right on the coast. Finding their destination would be more of a challenge, but it was one which Kain would gladly take. That it was on the map was at least a good sign. It gave him something to focus on, a goal to have in mind. He didn't like to remain idle when the others might be in worse situations than their own.

As much as he hid his concern well, he did want to find and ensure the others' safety... and would not accept any alternatives to finding them all eventually. But locating those unmapped places... especially with the poor communication... made it near impossible. This was a start, though, and they might even run across hints of other locations during their travels.

Pacing along the deck, Kain paused to stare out at the sea for a while... and then continued along toward where Penelo stood.

Penelo felt Kain's presence before he even came up beside her. He was becoming familiar to her, a friend. It was nice not feeling utterly alone again, like not everything was lost. She wouldn't tell people, but it was one of her deepest fears: losing more people she cared about. If she was being honest with herself, probably the reason why she clung so desperately to following Vaan wherever his wanderlust would take him. That and he really would get into too much trouble without her.

She glanced up at the dragoon and smiled warmly. "It's beautiful, isn't it? I still find all this water fascinating."

As much as Kain could be a loner and need to distance himself from others... there was an odd comfort in knowing that they weren't alone. It was mainly because this situation was so disorienting and confusing. He hoped they'd find answers soon enough. For now, just having some direction was good enough for him. Kain glanced at Penelo, even making at least a little bit of effort to lighten his expression.

"It's very scenic... have you not traveled over the sea before?"

Laguna leaned against the railing, his back to the sea as he watched the sky. His hands were in his pockets and his hair undone for today. He liked the cool breeze as it played with his hair, pulling and pushing it across his face.

It was very nice.

The president smiled softly as he listened to the conversation next to him, staying silent for now (a rare moment, no doubt.)
