Characters: Palom, Porom, Rydia, Edge Progress: Incomplete Summary: Returning the water crystal Location: The Water Shrine Date: June 11th Warnings: Violence, Edge.
Rydia glanced around the area, familiar with it thanks to last time but not about to let that lull her into a false sense of security. The myrrh tree and its guardian were ahead, and doubtless they'd need all their strength to fight it. Nodding to Porom, she darted her an encouraging smile.
"I'm ready. Let's go." Without hesitation, she strode forward. Normally she would hang back with the mages, but since she'd been there before and they hadn't, someone had to take the lead. Of course, Edge would be at her side as well. She expected no less.
Edge was right on Rydia's heals. He was ready to take point, but had to admit that he really didn't know the way through the shrine. Looking around, he also was surprised by the absence of fear. Grabbing a shuriken for good measure, he was ready for what lay beyond.
"This shouldn't take too long," he blurted out, confident of his skills.
Leave it to Palom to be pessimistic. But it was him joking around. He had been ready too. The Water crystal was just too important to him and his sister and to all of Mysidia for him to be afraid. He fell into step behind Edge.

"You could turn yourself into a toad if you're that worried about it."
