Minwu was keeping one eye open. Though it appeared that he was perfectly oblivious, perfectly content to just read and hadn't a care in the world, he was actually primed. Yet not for Firion -- not quite. The wizard had simply remembered the growing dissatisfaction in Alexandria to the "sky people" and the culture of blame that had existed in regard to all of them. Though meeting you again and seeing how you constantly improve is as always, a pleasant surprise." he responded couteously, lifting his head as a hippowench came along to enquire as to what the pair wanted to drink. He elected for nothing. He never drank, not really - and even if he did order something, for the sake of not being asked to leave (since this was a pub), would likely pass it along to Firion.
He allowed the other to decide what he wanted and reclined in his chair, head turning toward the fireplace. He couldn't answer the question. Not really. After electing to fade, he had known nothing... just a silent calm. Not even aware of passage of time, he had little idea whether his soul had lingered, truly faded, whatever world he had been called into... not even any semblance of the passage of time.
