It didn't count as a date. Not at all. A date was something that both parties had clearly specified before hand and had agreed to. This was dinner between friends so they could further discuss the state of their lives in a less private setting.

Yeah, that's exactly what it was. And the fact that they had both dressed nicely and were sat in a quiet corner with candles on the table was because it was a nice restaurant.

Yeah. That was totally it.

But he smiled back softly, ignore his dinner for a moment to answer her. "Yeah. Kind of."

"Kind of?"

The whole return to Midgar thing had been unsettling, as well as the dip in population that had occurred along with the new locations appearing. Maybe that's what he meant. Tifa had almost gotten used to it in a way, even though she'd fretted that some of her friends might have vanished. That was a constant worry in the back of her mind... Cloud could disappear right in front of her.

"It's not something that happens easily, Tifa." He doubted he would ever full become used to what had happened in the recent weeks. Being pulled out of the world he had become accustom to and dropped in this one, only to return to Midgar to find out it was all a fake. It wasn't exactly easy to take.

Tifa nodded, picking at her food. She understood that. Although when she tried to think back to when she had first arrived here, it disturbed her to realise that her memory was fuzzy. Everything kind of blurred together.

"It's not always this chaotic." No, who was she kidding, it was. The bits in between were just lulls. "Well... Maybe it's easier when you understand. Nobody knew what was happening at first."
