The young blonde was working on the ship, making sure sand wasn't clogging up any of the instruments and making sure everything was in working order. Cid wiped sweat off from his forehead and stated to himself, "There we go! That should do it for today!"

The mechanic stepped out of the ship and saw some Al Bhed's talking about the people who had just arrived. With his newly learned skills of the language he asked, "Fryd ec kuehk uh?" One of the Al Bhed spun around and pointed at the group and stated, "Dnyjammanc...drao'na hud Al Bhed" Cid got the gist of what was going on and proceeded to head towards the group in question.

"Um, hello there," stated the blonde waving his hand at the group.

Auron nodded when the boy waved at them. "You must be Rikku's friend, Cid, I take it?" he asked. He was impressed that he spoke Al Bhed, so no doubt this must be the person whom she worked with.

He watched the other Al Bhed, curious that they wound up here as well. How many others of Spira landed here Auron would never truly know. People came and went far too often to keep track.

Cid nodded at the question and added, "Cid Shido, um..." after working on Rikku's airship present he had forgotten this man's name. Cid blankly looked at him then nervously chuckled and replied, "Sorry...I think I forgot your name. What was it again?"

He really found it humorous, he remembered every single invention that he has done to date's name, but not this man.

"Auron," he replied. At least his last name was different from the other Cids. "Rikku it seemed was very excited about something, but refused to tell us." To which he was not surprised in the least, it was very much in Rikku's attitude to keep things a secret for dramatic effect.
