The voice was alarming, especially since he had expected everyone to be in bed by now. He stood up and turned to Genesis, his face shrouded in distress. While he didn't know Genesis was slightly gaining his sight back that didn't stop his face from expressing himself. "It seems to be my latter character at home, isn't it?"
The words came out more bitter than he realized and he sighed at them before looking away to the greenery the island had. "No," came the softer words. "I intended to be back by early afternoon. A passing thought anyway."
"I left because I wanted you back at ShinRa. With Sephiroth and myself." Angeal retorted. "I left at your request but that didn't mean..." He grunted. What was the point? They weren't home anymore and it already had happened to Genesis.
"Lindblum." He said plainly. "I... wanted to meet someone."
"And what about Sephiroth? What can we do for him?" Was the inquiry as Angeal took his place next to Genesis. "I understand you were watching after him before I arrived, but I'm not sure what that entailed."
"He loses his mind at home, doesn't he? And he wavered with that line here. As much as I would like to believe we are destined to our fates, watching him makes me worried." He paused, thinking about how to say the rest of his thought. "Are we going to watch him more closely now?"
Angeal turned around to face him, chuckling again. "It's only a promise if you don't keep yourself in check. And I am very much different now from when we were children. I was far too gentle with you."
