The twins have only just arrived, but already they're getting a crash-course in the ways of the mansion.

Meaning that, instead of a pair of redheaded Elves, there's a pair of red Irish Setters tearing around the grounds after each other.

They're very friendly and would be happy to find someone to play with.

How about an anti-social red-haired Russian? Honestly, Pasha likes animals better than people sometimes. He sees the dogs and looks for a pair of hefty sticks. He waves the sticks around a bit to get their attentions and throws them out to be fetched.

Oh? Oh? What's that? Is it fun? They jump around, barking at the waving sticks, and when he throws them they shoot off after them. They both end up finding one stick at first and play tug-of-war with it for a bit before the one releases it and finds the second stick. It's an impromptu race getting back to Pasha, though they reach him at near enough the same time that it would be hard to tell who won.

Despite his normally dour mood, the young dogs make Pasha smile. "Good dogs," he tells them, not trying to pick a favorite, though this time he only tosses one stick.

They charge after it with as much enthusiasm as before, though this time the tugging match over the stick is a bit more heated and lasts all the way back to Pasha's feet. He'll probably have to pull it away to get them to drop it.

Well, have another friendly dog who comes bounding outside, tail wagging.

When they spot the new dog the twins dash over, bouncing around and inviting him to play.

He hardly needs an invitation, bouncing around them both and sniffing inquisitively before taking off at a run, inviting chase.

They're off after him in a moment, barking happily as they chase.

Or an actual dog? Who knows them by more than sight or sound or scent, whatever form they're in. Who, seeing them run about, stands a little before them, waiting for them to frolic in his direction.

They recognize him as well on some level, even though they aren't quite themselves at the moment, and when they spot him they dash in his direction and pounce on him for a playful tussle.

Hopefully Huan won't mind a bit of tackling and ear-pulling.

Puppies! We like puppies, and so, there will be an Elenwë wandering about and running across them. Approaching them carefully, she offers a hand to be sniffed.

And she's vaguely familiar, even if their doggy minds don't remember why, so they bound straight up to her, barking and licking her hands and begging for scritches.

Scritches can be provided in plenty, possibly along with, so long as no one's watching, baby talk, because puppies.

The scritches greeted with much nuzzling and licking and happy barks, and they don't mind the babytalk at all. They probably wouldn't really know what she was saying anyway.
