A while back someone wrote a review of this story saying that it was a good idea, but poorly executed. I was miffed at first, but when I reread it I realized they were right. This being the case, I decided to rewrite it. It is now twice as long. I wonder at what point things are considered short stories...?

I read the original version of this a long time ago. I have been driving myself crazy trying to find it again. I absolutely loved this story. I'm glad it's still here. So, so very glad.
