Just a few thoughts?

I watched "The Pandorica Opens" last night, and one little scene tugged at my shippy heart.

So strange you say that, because that's EXACTLY what popped into my head during that moment, even though logically it wasn't anything to do with her (as Amy was unknowingly talking about herself).

I also agree that he still has the connection to Rose, as well (and Martha and Donna and Jack &etc) - he might have a new face and some new personality quirks but he still has the same memories and experiences.

Mhm!! It was a pretty random reminder of Rose, and yet I still felt it about as tangible as one of the intentional references.

Exactly! I'm of the thought that he's still the Doctor; he remembers everything and has a connection to everyone even though he has a new face and a few different personality quirks.

I thought this too. Did you hear when he said to Amy something like, "As long as we remember them they can always come back."
I was starting to lose faith in this new doctor, but now my shipper heart has started beating again. He loves Rose and still misses her, and I'm very happy :)

Oh yes...that whole scene had so many Doctor/Rose shippy undertones it make me so very delighted. I read a fic the other day that was Eleven/rose, and then seeing that scene, it's renewed my faith that the Doctor will always love Rose, no matter which face he has.

That's exactly what I thought! Funny how great minds think alike:) I actually have a feeling that even Moffat thought so. Although that's very un-him, I suppose.

Haa great minds! :)
I can't help but wonder if Moffat thought so too. I can hope, even if that's very out of character for him.

I a have a tiny thing to say about this. I'm no fan of Moffat for several reasons but didn't he write The Empty Child and The Doctor Dances? Those two episodes were the first who episodes that really gave a lot of...shippy meat to chew.

And since I'm not watching season 5 it's nice to hear the little tidbits that would interest me...and not have to put up with River. So thanks for the post.

Oh yess...I'd kinda sorta almost forgotten about that. LOL.

Well I'm just glad others aren't finding it a completely useless post :)

I also thought that, and voiced it to my SO. It earned me a chuckle, and a smack on the calf, haha. :)

Oh the life us shippers have to live ;)...LOL I mentioned it to my brother (who's only seen a few S1 eps) and he just gave me this blank stare whilst I got all gleefull over it.

Yup, and then Martha (I think? Dang, re-watch time) asked about his friend too. ITS LIKE FLASHBACKS FTW!
