Oh, I was thinking about this story the other day and hoping I hadn't missed chapters, and now I see I was just in time to find another one waiting for me! Such a lovely treat this evening -- thank you. I've been enjoying this very much indeed; it's wonderfully evocative.

Aw, thank you! If you're ever worried about missing chapters, you can look me up on Teaspoon. Or lj-message me about it, if you like.

It's funny ... I'd read through the previous chapters when I'd found them here, and it sat at the back of my mind as one of those dreamlike states of remembering the scenes and characters, but for the life of me I couldn't remember the title. And so I wondered, and was about to go looking for it, and lo and behold, you had a new chapter up! Hurray! I should go bookmark your Teaspoon page now.

It's so beautiful. The way it's written, the story; the words you've put together to create these sentences, these paragraphs, these feelings that 9!Smith has as they grow and become more confusing and he doesn't realise exactly where he's heading and it's just so wonderful and I never want it to end.

Have you ever had one of those moments where you're standing someplace new, brand new to you after you've just traveled an absurd distance and you're looking out around you at the sun set on a beach when you watched the sun rise over one (or something like that) and the world is just a bit distant from you because you have to back up to see it all, to get it into frame with your little camera and somehow every part of it is extraordinary? And maybe it's simply because you're there or because you had to travel there or because you traveled there all that way and your best friend is standing there with you with his own camera and you finally realize what the world "inseparable" means.

That's the feeling I try to write this with, when they're together. With more UST, of course, but - still. If any of that comes across at all, well, I'd love it to.

Thanks for reading and reviewing and forgive the ramble, if you would. (Probably shouldn't respond to comments first thing in the morning.)

I love the rambles and it explains it all very well and I have to say, you really get the feelings of it across.

This continues to be absolutely amazing. There's a poetry to it as well as pitch-perfect characterization. This is a story I wish updated more often but I'll be damned if it wasn't all that much sweeter because it isn't.

Keep on shinin', it's beautiful.

Thank you! Again.

I check every day for this story. Last night I *didn't* check, and it appeared like a gift.

I can see the scenery, see the people, see the details, see their hands. Each chapter draws me back into the place, into the story, instantly.

Hemingway? I like this better, actually. There's not an extra word here either, but the story has an intensity, a richness and depth...

I don't want it to end. On the other hand, I want a resolution to the tremendous tension I experience as I read it. It's wonderful.

Heheh, and thank you for reading! Glad you like it.

Well, that Hemingway line comes from the end of The Sun Also Rises and is spoken by a damaged veteran to the woman he loves but can never be with. Wouldn't their relationship be perfect if only they could be together? "Isn't it pretty to think so." When you look at it summary-style, it rather fits.

I thought you used the line perfectly. I hope what I said was clear: I'd rather read what you've been writing than read Hemingway!

thanks again
