Are we allowed to use CSS templates with credit? I can edit and write basic CSS but I don't know enough about LJ protocol and settings to write from scratch for it. I typically find a basic layout from one of the many talented communities and edit (if they allow it) the colors, then create a header, graphics, etc. myself. I always credit my sources for code. Let me know if you think this would be ok. If not, I'll try to figure out writing from scratch or I'll just make all the graphics and no code. :}
I am the same as you. I can pretty much convert any CSS template into something that I want it to be, but can't write the code.
If the winning layout is only graphics, I was just going to get a basic stylesheet and create a layout (much like this one currently which was winning graphics only) and credit the original CSS creator.
So, yes you can do either.
-Create graphics only or use a stylesheet but with proper credit to the original owner.

Let me check with my co-mods and get back to you. I don't think we had this come up last year.

Just wanted to let you that if you wanted to enter more than one layout, you can absolutely do so!
Thanks for your patience!

Cool Thanks:) That saved me from having to pick between the two ideas I already have. Thanks for clearing this up:)

Just make sure when you are submitting that you cut them. By the time all is said and done, the final episode should've aired in the US and Australia.
Thanks!
