Love it, especially the 'we were like that' bit, really nicely understated, you leave a bit of mystery in the Doctor's answer as to precisly what they were, but still allow a confirmation that they were 'like that' as Donna puts it.

Heh - glad you thought so. Often with the Doctor the challenge is in the understatement - he does need to remain ambiguous. And of course, the whole show's ambiguous on that front, although there seemed to be more hints in recent weeks that they were indeed 'like that'. I've finally decided for personal canon that they were, so here's the result. Thanks for commenting.

I have to say, “Listen, you pinstriped haddock" is the best name for the Doctor I've read Donna say. It's just rather marvellous.

And I absolutely love the emotion shining through in this, all the little bits and ramblings and it's a rather lovely, quiet piece of almost bittersweet humour, in a way that very much captures the Doctor and Donna's relationship and the episode itself. I do rather like it. :)

Heehee, glad you liked the name. I'll let you in on a secret - I do have a pre-prepared list of Donna's insults for the Doctor to use when I see fit. Still don't think anything can beat 'you prawn' though. I'm glad the emotion managed to 'shine through' as you so nicely put it, because when I was writing it half the time I had to remember not to spell it out. Thanks for commenting

Like they said, simply GORGEOUS. You really captured their voices, and the emotion was just brilliant. Much love!

Oh god. I have to watch this now. Would it be rude of me to leave my brother's house and go somewhere where I can download this like yesterday?

I have no idea what this is all about, but I love it. I will revisit this once I'm not at 27%. Omg, I cannot wait!

For any other TV programme, yes it would be rude. For Who, however, it's really the only sane thing to do.
Enjoy it!

I just finished watching and am so glad to have found this continuance of the scene in a way that is absolutely true to the voices and essences of the characters. I don't know how I'm going to wait until next week, but this helped! Thank you!
