Yep.

It's official.

You rock.

There are no words, you've used them all too well.

Heheh, you rock as well. (When I showed up for class this morning, latintabasco quoted your comment at me. I think you make both of us happy.)

Yeah, you captured exactly how I feel about rall's writing.

It's pretty much always amazing : )

I love this whole chapter to bits, but particularly the very last, about what the Doctor tells her...and what he doesn't. Because of course there's always something held back, especially in this.

Beautiful, all of it.

Thank you!

There's something inherently Doctory in the never revealing all the information, the "I'll explain later" of sorts that's never explained. A bit of it's style, a bit of it's plot device, but a lot of it seems to be plain inability to speak.

This was both painful and gorgeous at the same time. I too wonder where you'll go next with this but am enjoying the ride! :D

I really loved the bit about him offering peace in the form of Jelly Babies, that was very nicely done.

Thank you so much!

The first time I ever had a bag of Jelly Babies - note, I was giddy and jetlagged, so don't judge me - I remember reading the little blurb on the back about the history of 'em and having that entire geeky thought process. Having started with the Tom Baker Doctor, that just hit home to me. I'm glad you liked it.

Thanks for taking that risk.

The next two parts are being beta'd and the third written as we speak (nearly), so rest assured that I shan't keep you waiting for long.

*hugs him too* Oh, he needs it. My beta vyctori once said something along the lines of not liking "last of his kind" things because it's Hurt Without Comfort. This is my attempt at the comfort - the hurt just has to come first.
