Saving that for her ratings-winning guest episode next year. I don't know. I mean, really. I'd have *said* it took too much from the character, but then I'd have said that about the emo tears as well.

So I have no clue. *Might* have been a decision that they could get away with either the tears or an "I love you" and they decided the tears held more cos they bring in the "OMG I SO LONELY"?

That was the first Confidential I ever watched and it was wonderful. I loved how RTD, Billie Piper, David Tennant described Rose, and Rose and the Doctor. The montages of their relationship with both 9 and 10 got me in the heart. It did take something epic to break them apart. They created a wonderful companion and a beautiful dynamic.
