Weekend - Glazart Night
*flops* slowly recovering from the weekend *g* ;)
So this weekend was a blast and full of fun :)
It all started from an invitation we got from Glazart,
they are some kind of small dance club, bar, sometime making shows, or exhibitions too.
It can range from dances where they have many DJs lined up, playing the less well known 'niche' musics,
they also have live singers bands, art shows, fashion shows, and also once in a while they try to combine most of that in a dedicated night :)
So they invited us to be part of it,
one of the goal of that kind of night is to entertain their visitors of course, and also surprise them with unusual stuff, like us ;)
It's a bit of a "freak show", but even if I don't really like the word freak as it's most of the time used in a negative way, it's not the case during that night.
The meaning is just to designate something unusual and non standard, which we are :)
And people who are coming are fans of that and wants to be surprised :)
So we definitely fit in and succeeded in that purpose :)
They had about 8 DJs on that night, and one live band 'the naive new beaters'
Glazart was very friendly and caring for us, invited us to a dinner before the show,
and providing us with the big artist lounge that we turned into the fursuit lounge ;)
The DJs were quite varied, and even if it was not my favorite over bouncy music,
it was definitely very nice and ranging from all the genres.
From disco, to oldies, to rap, rock, light, electro music more heavy techno and so on.
Definitely a full panel :)
So after the dinner the night started with the first DJs, and we were scheduled to go out on the beginning of the second set.
The big night was from midnight to the morning. :)
I didn't really know what to expect of the people there, since it was the first time fursuiting in that type of environment late at night.
We had plenty of helpers in the end so it was good and thanks to them :)
So our time comes to get out,
and as we hit the main room, it was an instant hit, people cheering up and very happy to see us, dancing with us and so on :)
So we danced a bit with them and interacted happily,
after that was supposed to go on with a photoshot and invite people to get their photo taken with us, and handing them a small paper so that they can see them later on.
That didn't really go according to the plan *g* as there was not really space to fit 10 fursuiters for a photoshot, the planned space for the photoshot had tables and such,
But Glazart had setup some armchair for a one by one photoshot.
But as it was not announced to the people that they could take their photo with us *g* so even if most were spontaneously asking for photos, they didn't really know that we could take some for them if they didn't have a camera..
So we improvised there, spreading between the chair to take photos, and around the different rooms and dance floor to keep having fun with the people there :)

It went quite well on the interaction level for sure, even better than I had expected.
The main worry as I had expected before the start, was that there was a bar there,
so people were walking and even dancing with beers and other drinks.
The crowd was also very dense, and the low light was really making it difficult to move in suit for sure.
At some point nightfox got some beer dropped on his suit :\
I hope it washes out fine.
That kinda put a stop at the motivation of most fursuiters to come out again it seems,
or they were too warm, the main room was very very warm and moist..
So after the main outing we got back to the fursuit lounge to chill out a bit.
And I got out again with Aoikitsune.
Then taking another small break, and the time to put quickly the neon system on, as most in our group were kinda already ready to head out it seemed, I could have gone out a few more time but didn't want to bother everyone too much *g* ;)
so I was out again for some more show with the neons *g* ;)
I had not used them since last EF.. yikes ;)
They seemed to like the neon show too, which was good :)
At that time they had put some kind of cage in front of the DJ stage and there were dancers in it.
I was mostly doing my show in front of the stage myself.
At some point one of the dancer grabbed and pulled me as if they wanted me to get up there *g* ;)
At first I was not really understanding, because from the very little I could see there were bars preventing me to get inside....
It's only after a while that I understood that the bars were fake, and were only elastic strings,
so one could squeeze in between.
And there we go a kat behind bars ;)
I think BBF has plenty of video of that, so we'll see how it looks from all angles *chuckles*
It sure was an interesting and one of a kind and fun event :)
The rest of the weekend was nice and chilling out with good friends,
unfortunately most had to leave early on sunday,
so we ended up at 5 for the big BBQ ;)
was perfect, just fine between rain ;)
