You found some of his stuff? Neat! I really ought to read more philosophy/theology stuff like that to broaden my mental horizons. My sister (who just finished up a class on Neitzsche, among others) is trying to get me to read some of his stuff. Apparently he also had really bad migraines as well as terrible stomach problems and progressively worse and worse eye sight until he was almost completely blind. Plus, he kinda went insane.
Yeah. I got the Philosophy podcast, and they did a bit on Thomas Aquinas. It sounded very interesting. If you're not careful it can make your head spin...but it's interesting.
I've just started Feist's Conclave of Shadows series. So far, so good. As for the Chronicles of Amber, I could've done without the Merlin Cycle, but still...good stuff.
As for Saint Tommy, I think that underneath the philosophy and theology, the guy had a wicked sense of humor. "How do you figure out what God is? Easy! Just rule out everything He's not." Whenever I read his work, I get the distinct feeling that he's tweaking his reader's nose a bit.
