I like the idea of set times since I have other things that I do regularly through out the year.

My only (small) complaint has to do with that this particular thon occured in November - during NaNoWriMo. I paused my NaNo for a couple of days to work on this, but still.

Yeah, I had plenty of misgivings about doing it in November for that reason, but to my mind, December isn't much better for most people either.

(bows head) I dropped the ball, dear mod. I did wish the thon wasn't on November. It seemed half the fandoms I'm in had Big Bangs due in November.

Yup, for sure. (And it'll be easier for me to just set reminders for myself to pop over here and say let's have a thon! Life is a bit different now than when my cohort and I founded this.)
